An extraordinary performance, a unique atmosphere and a remarkable plot that leaves reflection - that's what puts the film Batteries Not Included on the highest shelf. Matthew Robbins showed us the world on the screen from a different perspective. Nevertheless, I am very thankful for this optimistic aura, and I recommend the film with a clear conscience. Even in the biggest and best Hollywood productions, there is the element of commercialism, that is elements that are in the film only to win favor with the mass audience.
