Definitely Boiler Room is in my personal top ten of best movies ever. I watched many movies in my life, over 10k in total... I sat for a long time after I ended watching Boiler Room, reflecting on my life. I will remember some scenes of this movie till my funeral. The directing by Ben Younger was just magnificent. When a movie makes all of its scenes so influential that you don't want to pick your favorites, you know you're dealing with great production. A college dropout gets a job as a broker for a suburban investment firm, which puts him on the fast track to success. But the higher up the ladder he rises, the deeper he sinks into a quagmire of dirty dealings, until he's breaking the law in order to keep his bosses happy and his paychecks coming.
