An extraordinary performance, a unique atmosphere and a remarkable plot that leaves reflection - that's what puts the film Gummo on the highest shelf. It wasn't easy to leave the cinema, when I saw it first time. Nevertheless, I am very thankful for this optimistic aura, and I recommend the film with a clear conscience. Even in the biggest and best Hollywood productions, there is the element of commercialism, that is elements that are in the film only to win favor with the mass audience.
