Smilla's Sense of Snow is the stuff of legend. It is a pleasure for me to watch movie like Smilla's Sense of Snow. An extraordinary performance, a unique atmosphere and a remarkable plot that leaves reflection - that's what puts the film Smilla's Sense of Snow on the highest shelf. Bille August showed us the world on the screen from a different perspective. Nevertheless, I am very thankful for this optimistic aura, and I recommend the film with a clear conscience. Even in the biggest and best Hollywood productions, there is the element of commercialism, that is elements that are in the film only to win favor with the mass audience.
